Somatic therapist Kimberly Lovejoy reached out to us for logo design and brand photography to revamp her website.
Although her clients mainly come through referrals, Kim wanted her website to better fit her business. Instead of starting from scratch, she had us create some new imagery that spoke more to her brand.
As a somatic therapist, Kim helps her clients find a path to healing. Even though everyone’s path is different, all of her clients have to commit to going through the journey. Kim likes to think of herself as the compass or guide for them.
Our designer was inspired by this and created a logo that shows a path going into some mountains. The sun and stars on top represent that the road to healing will be filled with both moments of light and guidance will be found in the darkness.
We went with a color scheme of purples, gold, and green to evoke trust and grounding but also a touch of magic, which is exactly how I would describe working with Kim.

For her photos, Kim wanted to show off her office space and different techniques that are used in somatic therapy. When in person, there are elements of talking, touch, breath work, and energy healing.
Kim also is inspired by nature, so we took images in the field next to her office. The sunshine added the element of light and depth. Kim also chose clothes that floated in the wind and matched her new logo so they would fit well into her website.

Sometimes, simple tweaks to your website have the most impact. You don’t always have to start from scratch, but rather assess what’s working and what isn’t.
